Footwear Futures: What Will You Make?

By Amy Ratelle on Mar 28th, 2015

April 18th, 19th, 25th or 26th

Learn how to 3D print! Join us at the Bata Shoe Museum for a workshop bringing ideas about traditional shoe-making together with futuristic 3D printing technology.

This super-fun 90 minute workshop for kids ages 9-13 will teach 3D design skills and provide some history on traditional shoe-making practices.

This workshop is part of a research project at the Faculty of Information (University of Toronto) designed to study what kids understand about 3D printing. Participation in the study is optional. All kids who take part in the workshop will be able to keep the 3D-printed object they make!

To register, or for more information, please contact Amy Ratelle at amy.ratelle@utoronto.ca or at (416) 978-0891.

See you there!
