Games In Film - Playing Columbine

Games in Film nights discuss issues surrounding games and gamin more broadly as they are represented in film. For this event, we will watch, then have a panel discussion on the film Playing Columbine. The film is a documentary that explores the controversial creation and release of the game, Super Columbine Massacre RPG, as well as issues surrounding video games and violence since the late 1990s. Our panelists for this event are: Sara Grimes, Phd, Faculty of Information and Semaphore Lab, U of T Daniel Joseph, Phd (Candidate), Communication and Culture and EDGE Lab, Ryerson U and York U Akwasi Owusu-Bempah, PhD (Candidate), Centre of Criminology, U of T All students, faculty and other interested parties are welcome. There are 28 seats available.
